We're beyond thrilled to share that our Tumaco, Colombia 85% dark chocolate has won a Bronze Award at the 2025 International Chocolate Awards World Finals! This prestigious recognition is a testament to the exceptional quality of our chocolate and the meticulous craftsmanship of our founder, Denise Castronovo.
Held on November 8, 2025 via youtube livestream, the World Finals brought together the best chocolates from around the globe, with our Tumaco, Colombia 85% dark chocolate standing out among the crowd. To reach the world finals, our chocolate first won Bronze at the Americas and Canada semifinal competition in September 2025.
The judges, comprising 46 experts from 14 countries, praised the high-quality entries in the High Percentage Plain/Origin Dark Chocolate category, noting that several 100% bars with no sugar took top honors. Our Tumaco 85% bar was described as a "rich and layered experience" with flavors of deep chocolate, walnut, hazelnut, prune, and a bright touch of citrus – all naturally present in the fine cacao sourced from the biodiverse tropical Pacific- coast region of Tumaco, Colombia.
Denise's dedication to quality is evident in every step of the chocolate-making process, from hand-selecting beans to meticulously roasting and grinding the chocolate to perfection. The result is a truly exceptional product that showcases the unique flavors of the region.
While high percentage dark chocolate may require some palate training, our Tumaco 85% bar is notable for its creaminess, low bitterness, and mild astringency. Plus, with its high polyphenol content and low sugar, it's a treat that's as delicious as it is nutritious.
Taste the award-winning difference for yourself and experience the rich flavors of our Tumaco, Colombia 85% dark chocolate.
