Using sheep's wool, these mochilas are hand-woven by the Arhuacos women in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia. Each bag carries a history of each woman's thoughts, her connection to Mother Earth, her partner, and herself. She carries on the tradition of her ancestors to this day.
